The Ohioana Pegasus Award was first given in 1964. This special award is given to recognize
unique or outstanding contributions or achievements in the arts and humanities.
The Pegasus Award is given at the discretion of the trustees of the association.
CRITERIA
The recipient must have been born in Ohio or resided in Ohio for a minimum of five years.
The recipient should have a statewide, national and/or international reputation for an outstanding or unique achievement or contribution to the arts and humanities.
It is desirable for the recipient to be present to receive the award.
