THE BIG REVEAL . . . .
It’s with great pleasure and excitement that we’re introducing the official 2024 Ohioana Book Festival poster!
The poster was created by Tracy Subisak, one of the authors in our stellar line-up of more than 120 authors and illustrators who will be taking part in the festival at Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Main Library on Saturday, April 20.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of commissioning the design of a poster especially for the Ohioana Book Festival. We were delighted that Tracy accepted our invitation to design the 2024 poster, which perfectly captures her gift for bringing fun and wonder to readers of all ages.
In 2022, Tracy won the seventh annual Floyd’s Pick Award for her picture book Jenny Mei is Sad. She is the first Floyd’s Pick recipient to design a festival poster. The book was also a title on the 2023 and 2024 list for Choose to Read Ohio, which is being celebrated at this year’s festival.
You’ll be seeing Tracy’s colorful poster art often in the coming weeks. And you’ll have the chance to meet Tracy in person at the Ohioana Book Festival on April 20!
